Getting started with the Captain
Cooks Poker Room download and installation
Download the software:
- When the “File Download” box appears, choose to “Save” this program
Next, the “Save As” box will appear. You will
need to choose a location to save your Poker Room software.
For easy reference, save the software to your 'Desktop'
as illustrated. If you wish to save it to a different location
however, remember where this is so that you can find it
again later.
- Then click 'Save' to begin the download
- The box will change to a progress view of the download.
When the download is complete, click on the “Open”
button and the installation wizard will initiate.
Install the software:
If the Install Wizard does not automatically open, double-click
on the Captain Cooks Poker Room icon on your desktop. If you
chose to save the software to a different location, go there
and click on the download file.
- This will launch the Install Wizard.
- Follow the onscreen instructions and click 'Next>'
to continue. To continue the installation you will need
to read and agree to the Licence Agreement. Click 'Yes'
to continue.
- You will then be required to select a Destination Location
to where the actual Multi-Player Poker software will be
saved. The automatic default will be on your hard drive
under 'Program Files'. If you would prefer to choose a different
location however, use the browse button to do so. Once you
are happy with the location, click 'Next>'.
- The Install Wizard will begin to set up the software.
Open an account at the Poker Room
Before being able to open an Account, you will need to ensure
that The Captain Cooks Multi-Player Poker software is on your
computer. Once you are connected to the software, you need to
either enter your existing Captain Cooks Casino Account details
or Register a new Account in order to play.
Existing Player
Enter your existing Real Money Account Number (User Account)
and Password into the fields provided, and click on 'OK'.
You will then be guided through a step-by-step process that
will enable you to register your details with Captain Cooks
Poker Room, which is linked to the Prima Poker Network. You
will also be required to select a unique Alias to be used
on the Prima Poker Network
New Player
Click on the 'Register Account' button.
You will then be required to register as either a Real User
(playing for Real Money), or a Guest User (playing for Free).
Click 'Next>' after making your selection... ...and you
will be guided through a step-by-step Registration process
that will enable you to Open your Real Money Account. If you

System Requirements
Downloading the Software
Captain Cooks Multi-Player Poker software has been designed
to operate on nearly all computers. The minimum requirements
are:
Pentium 100 MHz PC
Windows 95 / 98 / NT /2000 / ME
16-bit (high color) video card
16 MB of RAM
20 MB of free hard drive space
Minimum if 14.4 bps modem with ISP connection.
Unfortunately, the download version of Captain Cooks Multi-Player
Poker is not available to Players using Macintosh operating
systems.
Your Internet Connection You will need to be connected to
the Internet via your Internet Service Provider each time
you Login to the Poker Room software. If at any time during
play you lose your internet connection, simply re-connect
and return to the game you were playing.
